Welcome to Leadership Wilson County

- A program of the Neodesha & Fredonia Chambers of Commerce

Each year, approximately ten outstanding Wilson County citizens are selected to participate in eight to ten training sessions.   These sessions focus on the challenges and problems of Wilson County, through comprehensive exposure to a variety of topics pertinent to their communities, county and state.  Participants will benefit from training and refinement of their knowledge of Wilson County and leadership skills.   Wilson County and its cities will benefit from the expression of this leadership ability in many community endeavors.

Background

Leadership Wilson County was formed as a cooperative and collaborative effort by the Fredonia and Neodesha Chambers of Commerce.  This program, based on the former Leadership Neodesha program, represents a recognition that we a re a county community and that our issues transcend geographic boundaries.   It is believed that the long term success of our county and of all of its communities is closely linked to the manner in which issues of mutual interest are addressed.
